I admit I did not know what an RSS feed was before this course. After watching the RSS video explanation on youtube and accessing some RSS readers, I've discovered they are an amazing tool and could be very useful in many different ways. The sites I selected as RSS feeds were work related (library and young adult book blogs), however I would be excited to use it for entertainment purposes too.
My library currently uses RSS and provides RSS feeds to the library database, but it will certainly be helpful to my position when selecting new young adult material to purchase.
